Pets are welcome

It’s said that having a pet is good for your health.  On those snowy winter nights when the dog needs to be walked, I’m not so sure that’s true but most of the time I agree.  Our dog Gillian is at the AJM offices every day.  She is almost 3 and has missed only a few days of work since she joined our family.  Gillian is a Lhasa Apso and is the official greeter at the office, participates in meetings and is happy to join anyone for lunch.  Gilly (one of her many nicknames) gives us an excuse to take a break and throw a toy down the hall and we all wish we could join her for one of her many daily naps.  Having a dog in the office is a pleasant distraction and makes everyone smile.

If you too have a pet and are planning to rent an apartment or buy a condominium, you need to check the rules.  Each complex has different regulations regarding pets – some have a no pet policy while others limit size (nothing over 50 pounds), breed or type (cats only) for example.  You don’t want to find out on the day you move in that your four-legged family member isn’t allowed.  And no matter where you live, be sure to keep your dog on a leash and pick up after them.  At AJM Real Estate Services we can help you find the right place where you and your pet will be happy.
